OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this online gallery is to advance the UN Global Goal of life below water by highlighting the work of twelve women marine photographers and scientists. This journal aims to celebrate and recognize the efforts of the selected women, while also continuing to bring awareness to the importance of marine life conservation.

CONCEPT
In order to highlight their work, the photographs taken by the women are displayed as the main focus. In addition, research and articles written by the female marine biologists provide the audience with an outlet to learn more about marine life conservation efforts. The use of imagery and research provide an increased visual impact for the viewer; not only seeing the plight of marine life, but reading about its significant impact as well.
